Based in Todmorden, Carl Fielden is an up and coming local artist. A former ‘Watch Manager’ at Todmorden Fire Station, Carl is now able to focus on his creative side and fulfil his artistic ambitions. His love of the beautiful Yorkshire surroundings, in which he grew up, are often the focus of his pieces, with Stoodley Pike being a firm favourite.

Carl’s art has a distinctive and individual style. He takes pleasure in the fluidity of working with different mediums and genres. Whether he is capturing moody moorland scenes in watercolours, or pen and inking quirky cartoons, Carl’s colourful and modern aesthetic always shines through.  

Carl has held art exhibitions of his work at Todmorden Town Hall and the Legacy Arts Gallery in Todmorden. His pieces are on display in various locations throughout the Calder Valley and surrounding areas, with recent exposure in Scotland.

Carl’s following is growing steadily and he enjoys creating bespoke commissions for many art lovers, as well as expanding his range of limited edition prints, greetings cards and original works.
